CORE Construction—Nevada completed construction of the Campos Office Building and Parking Structure in Las Vegas. The new five-story, 187,467-sq-ft structure for the Nevada State Public Works Board is a modified podium style building with parking on the lower levels and offices above. The first two floors are constructed with precast concrete slabs and columns, and the top three floors are constructed with structural steel. The city of Las Vegas began construction on the new Neon Boneyard Park on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard at McWilliams Avenue, in downtown Las Vegas. Work is scheduled to take approximately 10 months. The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department hired Kini Knudson P.E. as its new Deputy Director for Facilities. David Wagner Knudson brings over 13 years experience in the public sector, with more than six years as an engineer/ project manager in Phoenix Public Transit�s Facilities Division. Prior to joining the City of Phoenix, Knudson served as a naval officer in the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps. He holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona, and a MBA from Arizona State University.
