The question of who will pay for at least $10 million to replace girders on I-55 near St. Louis is being sorted out between the contractor, subcontractor, insurance companies and attorneys. 

The main focus is the Airport Improvement Program, which finances runways, taxiways and other infrastructure.

Agencies including Los Angeles World Airports and the Port of San Francisco detailed major infrastructure projects in the works to prep for the World Cup and Olympics, and address sea level rise. 

Attorneys observing the case had noted the possible pitfalls of Flatiron's strategy of fighting on two legal fronts at the same time in the dispute.

But project development continues in the state—with builder Skanska gaining a $861M NYC port upgrade contract—and in the US, with federal lease auctions now set for offshore Maine and Oregon as first of 12 through 2028, and NJ announcing it will seek up to 4 GW capacity add.

It is the largest amount the agency has ever spent on projects in a single fiscal year.
