The mixed-use development along the Nile River features two connected towers, each standing 23 stories tall, with additional below-ground-level stories housing a parking garage and shared mechanical and electrical rooms.

The first tower consists of 190 residential units, while the second is a Hilton-operated hotel. Each building also features additional amenities such a ballroom, library, spa and health club, pool and restaurant.

Due to the project site being surrounded on two sides by water, the team had to account for weak soil when building the foundation, says the submission. By constructing a 30-m-deep diaphragm wall, which also includes seepage monitoring plugs, team members were able to ensure that the structure remained sound.

During construction, the project team faced challenges in importing goods due to political instability in the region. To alleviate delays caused by this, members used raw materials that were available locally.
